In February 2023, I began an exciting new chapter as a Senior Graphic Designer and Web Developer at Nimble Marketing Consultancy, a vibrant consultancy and creative agency based in Singapore. Initially working remotely from Jakarta, Indonesia, I quickly realized that this opportunity would profoundly influence my career trajectory while providing invaluable insights into the digital marketing and web development sectors.
By August 2023, I decided to join Nimble on a permanent basis. This transition wasn't just about shifting to full-time work; it represented a chance to challenge myself, gain exposure to the dynamic agency scene in Singapore, and push my creative boundaries. With prior experience in corporate settings, I was eager to adapt my skills to a remote environment and embrace new learning opportunities.
One of the standout features of my time at Nimble has been the incredible team I work with. Despite being dispersed across Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia, we have built strong relationships that surpass geographical boundaries. The support and encouragement I’ve received from my colleagues, especially Bella, our founder, have been invaluable in my growth.

Embracing remote work has brought about unexpected advantages. While my corporate experience provided a solid framework, this new setup has granted me the flexibility to manage my schedule more effectively and cultivate a healthier work-life balance.
This newfound freedom has allowed me to engage in a wide range of projects that align with my interests and skills, promoting both personal and professional growth. My experience in a remote environment has shown that productivity and innovation can thrive anywhere, as long as effective communication and collaboration are prioritized.
